The week earlier I went to a branch to get change. Once again, they looked at my accts. and said I qualified for a preferred acct. I said I already had one and they said no, it must have dropped out. They evidently drop you out automatically but don't sign you up automatically. They told me all the benefits, and I would have received a 1% discount on the coin and a free shipping fee. They said too late but you can get it next time. I said it has taken me 3 years to go and your person on the telephone should have informed me. I went to pick up my coin, waited 25 minutes in line, and then they didn't know how to do it on the terminal. Called the manager over and I told her what had happened. She was going to try and help but I had to go because I had already waited and so long. She told me to call customer service. I did and she couldn't help, transferred me, they couldn't help, transferred me, and they said the system is fix to not let them refund what they should have given me at the beginning. I also used to work for B of A. Incorrect answer for someone that has been with them for over 45 yrs. They say they want to give personal attention but everything is coded into the computer and there is no leeway. I also have a multi-storied bldg, that was B of A. Take trouble getting cash and depositing into the drive-upwards ATM. The third time, I went to the walk up and it froze and kept my card. When I went in, the bank doesn't exist anymore and this is their bldg. Came back out to the ATM and in that location is my carte sticking out for anybody to accept. I'm on a role. They also don't permit you flag your acct anymore when you go on a trip. I had my acct frozen a few trips agone and wanted to prevent it from happening again. Chase lets you code but not B of A. If you are not where you can receive a text or e-mail and respond immediately, you are out of luck. I will be shopping effectually for a banking company with customer service. Doesn't thing my time I've been in that location, the status of my acct, even though they now thank me for my years, like that does whatever good.


Their Credit Card services are terrible.

I take tried to dispute a credit menu accuse with B of A for over 3 months. At the offset, everyone was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, they made me jump through several hoops to get them information etc. I don't heed doing the research and work to get things resolved, but here is their little trick - they delay advice and information requests for so long, that by the time you get the info to them you are "out of the xc day window" to resolve the claim. They have informed me they cannot reopen the instance and there is nothing I can do now. Just bad business. I should have heeded the reviews I read about B of A and gone with a different card. I take since switched companies and will never do business with B of A over again.

Been a B of A client and an employee. Horrible experience as a customer. After working for them for awhile I empathise why. Clients are simply thrown into an automated system and if something goes wrong there is very little customer service agents can do for customers beyond interpreting what happened. It'south not the customer service agents mistake however, information technology'southward how the bank has things set up. Hard bank to bank with and hard bank to work for.

I could become on and on with how bad this experience was just I am exhausted from this very time consuming ordeal merely to go a replacement card and the PIN working. The people at BOFA think their co-operative and on-line systems piece of work simply because they be, so await a lot of "do it on-line" every bit their solution to everything. The worst bank ever. They don't have any of human sense, they charge me $12 monthly for an business relationship and and then I accept to wait more than than 9 days to get my money from a check!!! That is crazy, I am paying an expensive and awful service, I got but $20 dollars in my acount, and they answer is that I have to wait 9 days to get my money. MY Money!!!!! They dond care that I dont have coin for gas, food and rent... The house owner wont wait 9 days...


I am a current Banking company of America HELOC…

I am a current Bank of America HELOC customer. I take wanted twice to pay down my HELOC but to have them pay it off and close it. Each time they have fabricated it very hard to get it opened back up even though it was their mistake that caused the problem. I will be leaving them. Now my pay downwards funds have not been applied. I should have a nothing balance just instead I have the pay down amount showing as unapplied. I hope they are paying me interest on this amount because it is significant. They close at 4:00 PM. They made it very clear to me that their policies are more important then their customers. No flexibility at all. You can tell they have been coached on how to attempt and talk you downwardly when you criticize their bank because they literally all use the verbal same phrase. "We don't want you to experience that fashion, I am sorry."


Estate Services two Cashiers Check Nightmare

On Dec 30th 2022 my brother and I lost our Mother unexpectedly which hit us pretty difficult seeing as how we had unexpectedly lost our father a few years prior. I am the Eldest child, 43, so I took it upon myself to handle everything one would handle when dealing with the expiry of a loved one. At present one is never truly prepared to handle things when ones parents pass specially when you don't accept parents anymore and you yourself are"barely" an adult.Yes I did say 43 , but im a young 43.I just hadn't grown up however but I was about to acquire a lesson.You lot mightve noticed that I gave this 1 star and y'all are right.That star, that bright marking on what wouldve been the perfect negative experience, belongs non to the banking concern but to the One and Just person who was helpful in any way shape or form,Jennet.Every Single other person in this review excluding myself and Jennet are or should exist not merely fired but brought upwardly on some sort of charges if they exist.Ok my mom passed 12-30-22 and I recieve BOA forms stating I demand them filled out and notarized, letters of instruction and account closure and small estate affidavit.Both of which I know less than zero about. so I get to BOA with the forms and was told by the mngr he could non assist me with that.I would take to wait 40 days then he could aid me and gives me a card. And so okay,I wait 40 days and call and Naught. thats weird. So I call once again and nada.Ok, so I phone call again and again and aga..... you get it. leaving a voice message everytime for DAYS. Finally I exit what could best be described as a very Chaotic grouping of veiled business like threats and lo and behold he calls me right back.Weird, huh!?!? Then during the most bad-mannered and uncomfortable call I've e'er been autonomously of due mostly to my earlier godfather don-like message I had left, apparently it was only some other Tue to him and it happens all the time. Which looking back it shouldve been a alert almost what lied ahead. because he just scheduled an engagement thanked me and boom.3 days later I show up to the appt with my lil blood brother early I might add and expect.AND so wait,expect wait ughhh I expect some more than.Then someone comes over and asks can we help you.Aaarghhh!!!! I say again that we have an appt with manager ect ect and I await and wait only to exist told that he isn't there. KABOOM!!! Oh my God did I just have a stroke.I pick myself up and grumble something like ohhewemanagsaid2thiWHAT! So he says nosotros have someone who tin assistance you lot,it'll be a min.And in comes Jennet,The solitary becon of lite,after we wait of course.So she helps us fill everything out and notarized everything and fax it off.She was great.We are told in x days we should get a check for the 2 accts that we closed and then I/we ........Await. and cipher.We go something in the mail from BOA that looks like the same thing that came 2 weeks prior, wait a minute it IS the aforementioned thing ,same forms aforementioned EVERYTHING. they say they didn't recieve annihilation from me/u.s. and that nosotros needed to fill up out the forms again but not the small-scale estate affidavit they take that, just the alphabetic character of acct closur.....WAIT a min you but said yous didn't get anything from us but you take the small estate affidavit from us so nosotros don't need to send that. Do you see the problem I have with this.She did non see the problem I was having with what she said. so I had a total on anxiety att....episode,in my own head.I had yet be rude or yell at anyone at this point ....Nevertheless.So I am told to go to the banking company and send them off to them and then nosotros can outset the procedure of closing the accts.So I cry inside for awhile and and so go to the depository financial institution to kickoff it up over again and the bank is closed temporarily for who knows how long.And then I cry this time non just on th inside simply on the outside too.And I consult the spider web as to where the side by side local co-operative was and there is only 1 open out of 4 so I go and wait to be seen.So i wait and the person who comes to assistance me is wait for it... Jennet from earlier, the 1 star.I tell her and bear witness her what they said and she was confused also so we call and we Expect and wait and wait on hold for four.5 hrs but sitting on hold.While she works im but sitting at her desk listening to stupid hold music for four.5 hrs until she said"I don't know,I guess we can just fill em out and send em once again". In ten days I got two cashier checks one for effectually 6k one for 10k. I go to BOA and am told they won't cash them. because I don't have an acct. Give me my coin. your job as a bank is to requite me my money. your banking concern gave me checks then you won't greenbacks your own checks. are they too big. so yous're saying you don't have our coin. GIVE ME OUR/MY MONEY. this is why I don't have a bank acct anywhere. Banks are not trustworthy enough to take our money when we need it. if you call back otherwise show me wrong. let me know how it goes when you endeavor to take out all your money. BOA are crooks not just BOA merely all Banks are the aforementioned when it comes downward to it.


Is Bank of America Solvent?

I am concerned that there are no longer Mortgage, Dwelling house Disinterestedness, and Championship and proper name change departments anywhere inside Banking company of America. I have been trying to obtain taxation documents subsequently the death of my spouse (July, 2016) since 2017, when my estate lawyer sent documents indicating the change of name. Since so, I have sent documents three more times, two of those times in March, 2022. There is no concrete location for the departments mentioned higher up anywhere in the Usa. At that place are no named individuals to serve as Liaison with the public.
Contracters respond the phones for these departments, and those contractors are not reachable. I have tried for 4 years to get this proper name change. I am also concerned that my mail from Bank of America is still going to the accost I shared with my deceased spouse. I am gravely concerned for the solvency of Bank of America, and would beloved to be contacted by them to inform me that they are solvent afterward all. This would be the best event for all involved.

I have been a loyal customer for ten years. I was the victim of Bank fraud. The fraud section told me to wait 10 business days and they volition put the money back in my account. ten business days had passed and I received an email saying sorry we can't help you lot. Y'all will have to contact your not emergency number and accept them to assist yous with your claim. I waited 10 business days for this and this is what they told me. My business relationship went into the negative because coin was taken out my account that I didn't authorize and they told me to contact my non emergency number for further assistance. I admittedly detest Bank of America.


Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. Deposited a large check from property endmost company. Was told the calculator showed there would not be any holds. I saw the funds available online the next day and proceeded to pay and buy about $forty,000.00 worth of bills and products. Later on in the evening, I received an e-mail from Depository financial institution of America stating that they were going to place a hold on the deposited check. The e-mail said I should check my account to brand sure I didn't overdraw. Well, of grade all of the payments and purchases were already made and now, I have a residue of NEGATIVE $5000.00. I called explained the situation and was basically told that I would get an apology letter of the alphabet and that they would file a complaint for me. What they did non practise, was tell me how I am supposed to eat, pay bills, get gas, etc. with NEGATIVE $5000.00 in my account. They stated that my funds would be bachelor in well-nigh 7 days and that's that... Horrible. Will shut all of my banking company accounts with Banking company of America and will never do business with again. I've been a personal customer for 30 years and a business organization customer for near 15 years. I can't believe their way of doing business organization.


Outrageous fees. Zero flexibility.

I take been a client of Bank of America since 1998. Recently, I made a fault and I transferred coin to the wrong account!!! Every bit a effect, some auto-withdrawals bounced and I have to pay OUTRAGEOUS FEES!!! They refused to work with me at all.
I'chiliad so sick of these fees for every lilliputian matter. Many other banks work with their customers. I am considering Marry or Chime.
